Petroleum Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan was on a visit to Singapore from 9th – 10th September 2016 to participate in the Roadshows for the 67 Discovered Small Fields (DSF). He was accompanied by senior officials from the Ministry & Oil Industry. Shri Pradhan inaugurated the DSF Roadshow, witnessing a participation of about 200 delegates and potential investors.
Addressing the event, he said that Singapore is a global hub for trading of Petroleum, Petrochemical products & Oil service equipment encouraging good synergy between India & Singapore. In addition he mentioned that Singapore is also a major financial centre in Asia from where FDI & Foreign Equity Investors can invest in Indian oil & gas sector.

Shri Pradhan also met equity investors & leaders of Hydrocarbon industry and addressed them on the changing landscape of Oil & Gas sector in India. While in Singapore, he also visited the Floating Production Storing Offshore (FPSO) Conversion Facility at Keppel Shipyard and Jurong Refinery and Petrochemical Hub.
